Bodie is 9 months old.......

Little Bodie bug is 9 months old today....wow! He is so much fun and INTO everything!!!
He's a climber so pray for us...ha ha! It's so much fun seeing his personality grow...he loves to snuggle when he's tired and wants to be FREE at all other times!! He has 4 teeth now, two on top and two on bottom....when his teeth are trying to come through, we can count on no sleep for a few nights...but, otherwise he's a good sleeper. He's taking about 3 naps a day, mostly short naps, but every once in a while, he'll surprise me and let me get some cleaning done for a couple of hours...I love those days!! I don't think he'll be eating baby food for much longer, he is much more interested in our food these days....we got him those little baby puffs and he likes them a lot! We need to buy him some new toys because he has NO interest in his old ones...he is much more interested in getting the big people stuff we leave around. He weighs about 13 1/2 pounds and is about 27 inches long...I'm pretty darn sure he'll be walking early, so it's going to be hiliarious seeing this tiny baby upright and walking. He is just a joy to have and we are constantly amazed at how we lived for so long without him!

Being in the saucer???? Not so much....he likes crawling underneath...ha ha!

Bodie's room is FINALLY coming together!

We've made more progress on Bodie's room....YAY! I'm having so much fun doing a BOY room!
I've got a few more projects I want to do...(poor Joel), but it's coming together!

For his monogram, I had the huge B from my collection and we found the other two cheap at Babies R Us...painted them all and I think they look great!
Loving his plaid bedding...this was so hard to find....why must everything have cutesie animals and such??? This was the closest thing I could find for what I had in mind!

Look at our Big Boy! He is climbing on EVERYTHING....Heaven help us...we're old remember?!!!

I'm having a blast find cheap-0 deals and making them cute! I found this brand new changing table at Salvation Army for cheap, cheap, cheap!! Only problem was it was the wrong finish...well, thanks to handy, dandy spray paint...it got a new look and it matches his crib perfectly!

Yes.....so much better! Now all I need to find is baskets for the shelves. I don't want to get too theme-ee for his bedroom, but I am going to go with an "Explore" feel....I found the metal United States board at Sundance....and believe it or not, I got a really good price (rarely happens there...but, I so love their stuff)!

And how perfect are his little Polo sweaters? hee hee...

Painted these clocks to match and am working on the next step...they will have little signs that have Japan time, Germany time and CA time...fun, eh?

My official entry to mothering a boy!

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later...our little Boo-Boo got his first boo-boo!! He's become extremely fearless when it comes to pulling himself up on anything he can reach and today the bottom of the armoire kicked his butt! But, I think his Mama cried more than he did!! He's a tough little thing and was mad that I kept trying to put the wet paper towel on his lip. Our world has changed for good...ha ha! Time to baby proof this house!

Sucker love.....

Bodie and Daddy are definitely going to have the love of candy in common!! Bodie wanted that sucker so bad! The other day he found a robin's egg malted ball on the floor (shame on the one of the older kids!) and was going to town until I realized that he was into something and got it out pronto....he was covered in blue and was not going to let go of it without a fight...he was mad at me for quite a while after I successfully extracted it from his mouth!! And today he "ran" away from me when he saw me coming for him in the kitchen for the third time!! He's going to be a handful!!

Give me some of that candy daddy...you stingy thing!!

So, I probably won't be as good as Kelly is about posting Sunday pics, but we thought little Bodie looked so cute today that we remembered to bring out the camera!! He's sporting the tie that Jade bought him in Utah when he was born...is he the cutest stinking thing ever? Ha ha. He is so loved in this home! Can you tell???
