Easter 2011!!

Happy Easter Everyone! I realize that it's been forever since I've updated our blog....but, life with an almost two-year old is, well....busy!! Also, there really hasn't been much to update everyone on....just the same-o thing....different day! Bodie continues to be a little bundle of energy and he keeps us on our toes! He is growing up so much....I totally hate it! Not only is he a mini-me in the looks department with his daddy....he's also starting to act like him...that can be a good, or a bad thing...ha ha! Either way, he is a little ham and we could just eat him up with a spoon on most days! Kyle and Saige are great.....they are still doing well in school and they keep us busy with all of their activities! Life is good.....I've said it before and I'll say it again....FAMILY IS EVERYTHING and I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband and beautiful kiddos! Here are our Easter/Sunday pics! Everyone was in a good mood (must be that sugar high) and it was wonderful day!

Starting on Feb. 1st, I told the fam that we were going to write each other little love notes every day till Valentine's Day and it's been really fun getting these sweet notes each day. It has been a good way to express our love for each other and be silly at the same time! I've posted a few of our "love notes"!

Wow, another week has drifted away and we have some lovely Sunday pictures AGAIN! I need to come up with some other blog post ideas....ha ha!

Sunday Pictures and a Little Valentine Love!

Hey there! We got a few Sunday pictures this week, we are sadly missing a certain 15 year-old boy. ( who ever said that GIRLS take forever to get ready didn't live with a certain 15-year-old boy....ha ha) Kyle was still styling his hair and so, we'll have to make sure (force) to get him next week! We may even do a special "Kyle Sunday Picture Post" I'm sure he would just love that!

I never really do much decorating for Valentines, but this year I got a little inspired to throw a few touches around the house. I love my dough table so much, it has become my "seasonal" area to decorate. I just put a few simple items together, nothing fancy...but, I love it! I got the topiary in an after-Christmas clearance section and I.LOVE.IT.SO.MUCH! I just cut the top off (Joel cut the top off...ha ha) and made it look more round on top and I totally have a topiary that doesn't scream Christmas at all. And you wouldn't believe how cheap I got it...SCORE!

Anyway, a little Valentine Vignette....it makes me happy!

And the pink marshmallows started it all!!! I saw these heart marshmallows at Target and basically got me thinking about how cute they would be in a glass jar....so, of course they came home with me and how stinking cute are they? The kids know they are just for decoration, which they don't really get at all....but, what can I say????

Joel doesn't get it either and every day a few are missing....ah well, hopefully we will still have some by February 14th!
