Bodie Bug and Sunday Pics...

We have ourselves a little character folks....I tell you what, this little boy brings the sunshine into our lives! I don't know what we did before he was born....he is a source of constant entertainment and lots and lots of messes! But, we wouldn't have it any other way. Daddy bought him his first Bama hat and I don't think he's been without it much since the day it arrived! He loves to say "Roll Tide" and is so stinking cute I just want to smooch on him ALL.DAY.LONG! He loves to sing in the car and right now his favorite songs are "Moves like Mick Jagger" and "Pumped up Kicks"....he also knows the words to "Hope it gives you Hell" by the All American Rejects...much to our embarrassment in the doctor's office when he belted it out for everyone in the waiting room.....whoops! Need to pay attention to the lyrics from now on....ha ha! He's a little ham and works the I-pod like a seasoned pro....he's a picky eater and STILL only weighs 25 pounds, but he's an active little thing and can't be bothered to sit down and eat! I am constantly following him around with food! That may be a source of therapy on down the road...ha ha! Anywho0....here are some shots of our little burst of energy and of course our weekly Sunday Pics....what would you do without them? ;O)

Saige headed out for one of her last games.....so glad that she got to participate in Basketball this year...she really enjoyed it and her team did really, really well. She picked the number 24 because that is her Uncle Regan's number on his racing car! She loves her Uncle Ree-Ree!

Joel was unusually chipper for this week's photos, he kept telling Kyle to take one more....I'm the dork just smiling away, oblivious to his antics!! Every single picture he was making a funny face....at least he cracks himself up!!! (he cracks me up too....I do love this boy)

Sunday Pics and Taking a LEAP!!

Happy March!! Can you believe it??? This year is going to go by even faster than last....I no likey!! Saige is finishing up basketball this week and we have had so much fun going to all of her games...that girl is all heart! I'm so proud of her and her will to keep trying....she's going to try out for track too....so, in other words....life will not be slowing down for us any time soon! Kyle also got his very first job at Carl's Jr. and so adding his work schedule into our mix should make for a very busy life....but, somehow we get it all in! Bodie, of course keeps us on our toes EVERY.SINGLE.DAY! ha. He's kind of going through a whiny stage lately....REALLY hoping that passes soon! But, otherwise life is good, our family, church callings and everything else really makes us the most happy and I'm so grateful that I have such a great little family!

Here are some pictures from our New Beginnings program....everything came together really well and I'm happy with the results....we got the idea to have New Beginnings on Leap Year...Feb. 29th and found lots of good ideas on the web!

In the weeks leading up to our program, we had the girls jump for pictures! And we hung them on our back drop with the lily pads! Then each girl got up and told us what makes them jump for joy and they added their individual picture on the lily pad. Very cute!

The favors.....the personal progress leader put together the little frog handouts and my second counselor and I did the plaques....I love how they turned out....Arise and Shine Forth is this year's theme and we did this trendy cute saying for all the girls.

Sunday Pics and Forcing Spring in Feb.!

Bet you can't believe it's time for Sunday pics again? right? ha ha! I've really been in a blogging slump...I can't for the life of me remember to take out the camera when something worthwhile is going on...but, I hope I can do better this year! I have a lot of plans for the house, so hopefully I can blog about those projects as I get them done! I'm also planning on a big Birthday for little Bodie Bug, so that is always fun! In the meantime....here are the latest Sunday pics of the familia!!!

For some reason, I have been obsessed with the color green lately.....and while it is STILL technically winter....I decided to force a little spring in our house and what better color to do it with than bright apple green!! I love the change, I always feel a little blah in January and February and these little changes did me a world of good!!


My obsession started with these bright green eucalyptus branches that I found at Marshalls....loved them so much that I went to another Marshalls store to find more!!

This little beaut was a TJMAXX score in their clearance pile.....I love it and I think it looks a little more modern than those old silk plant trees!

Pops of green in the dining room.....mostly with stuff I already had. I spray painted the basket in the dough bowl today! Loved how it turned out.

Love me some spring birds....HATE, HATE, HATE the pigeons that live on top of our house that poo all over our drive way....we MUST get rid of those things.....JOEL!!!

Spring piano-scape! I so should have bought more of these huge wine bottles when we were in Europe....they are so pricey over here and I think I scored on this huge thing....darn.
