Peep Jousting 101

Okay, pick your warrior peep, Saige said you must look into its eyes...then insert his joust (toothpick)....place them for battle on the plate. Next, place them in the microwave and the peep that is left without a joust impalement of another player is the winner! Joel even wins at this silly game, what is up with that? And, Kelly...I'm with you...peeps actually do taste like sugar coated waste! So, this was a good alternative to eating them!

Easter Peep Jousting!

After Easter dinner, we played peep jousting! Joel's peep is the yellow rabbit and as you can see, he killed us! Peeps are even better melted in the microwave. Try it!

Basketball and Saige!

This was Saige's first season playing basketball and well, by the end she wasn't skipping down the court! She had fun and that is all that matters! This lay-up was her shining moment!

This Christmas was a little lonely for us...but we made the best of it. We spun our Christmas records and drank hot chocolate and of course opened up new jammies!

This is the massive bouncy castle that we rented for Jade's Birthday. Joel has warned us that we better not even "think" about getting it again...it was a huge nightmare loading and packing it up...it weighed 500 pounds.

Daddy's Home

Joel Made it home from Iraq after 4 ½ months. Saige and I picked him up…lots of tears! We are so excited to have our family back together again.

First Blog!

Okay, I'm finally getting around to setting this blog up! I love looking at all the blogs of my friends and family and thought it was about time to start ours! We have very wonderful and exciting news! A new little addition to our family is on the way! We feel so blessed. Between Joel, Saige and myself, I don't think the baby will ever be out of someone's arms!! I will be about 5 months pregnant at Jade's graduation...I'm sure she will just LOVE that! There are many changes happening to our family and more to come, but we are looking foward to all of it.

Sad little update, we unfortuanetly lost our sweet baby at 11 weeks, it's been hard for us..but we know that God loves us and hopefully there will be a "new additon" to our family in the future.
